Things I’ve shipped.

A cricket app on the App Store, a soccer booking platform, an AI assistant that turns plain words into a plan, a home for my beats, and a budget that actually talks to my bank.

SuperOver

Pickup cricket for the GTA, booked in a tap.

I architected and built the whole platform: a Flutter app for iOS and Android, a Firebase Functions API, the marketing site and the admin tools. Players find a game near them, pay with Apple Pay, and chat with their team before the first ball.

  • Stripe payments, confirmed by signed webhooks before a player joins a game
  • Real-time game chat with push notifications that deep-link into the right screen
  • A host program with slot claims, reminders on Cloud Tasks and post-game ratings
  • GitHub Actions pipelines shipping builds to TestFlight and Google Play

GameDay

See you on the pitch.

Drop-in pickup soccer in the GTA. I built the booking site and the admin dashboard behind it, from finding a session to paying for it to working out whether a venue will break even.

  • Interac e-transfers matched to bookings automatically by reading the payments inbox
  • Book without an account through a private link, with holds that expire on their own
  • Admin tools for venues, check-in, finances and a break-even calculator
  • 580+ tests, with CI running migrations and a production build against a real Postgres

Athena

My own Jarvis, and getting closer every week.

Athena is an assistant I hand things to. I tell her what's going on in plain words, typed or spoken through a Siri Shortcut, and she keeps track of all of it: plans, promises, goals. She runs my day in sentences, not lists: a brief at 6 AM, a nudge when a real gap opens, and a 30-second recap at night. Next, she learns to take a whole task and finish it on her own, like researching something and reporting back.

  • One message, sorted: an appointment goes on the calendar, a promise to someone gets a reminder, a goal gets a first step
  • Nudges when a real window opens in the day, not on a timer, with a daily limit so she never nags
  • Writes emails for me and sends them only after I say yes
  • A recap each night and a ten-minute plan every Sunday: what moved, what slipped, and this week's three focuses

Dentist Tuesday at 3, send Sam the deck by Friday, and I want to start running.

Got all three. Here’s where each one went:

  • Promise to SamThe deckDue Friday · a nudge Thursday night if it’s still open
  • New goalStart runningFirst step: a 20-minute run on Saturday

GameOver Studio

A home for my beats, built with the same care as the music.

My music catalogue, styled as a drum machine with an arcade inside: press START and a stage transition drops you into the studio, where the beats stream from S3 through links that expire after an hour.

  • A player built from scratch on the HTML5 Audio API that keeps going between pages, with a real queue: play next, drag to reorder, shuffle, repeat
  • Spotify sign-in with the client secret kept on the server, tokens in HttpOnly cookies, in-browser playback
  • An arcade layer: a tap-along rhythm game graded against your own groove, typed cheat codes and 12 trophies
  • An LED-matrix aurora in WebGL that pumps with the kick of the beat that’s playing

Budget

A household budget that talks to the bank.

Bank accounts sync through Plaid and new transactions tidy themselves up: messy card-processor names become real merchants, rules file them into categories, and transfers, refunds and subscriptions are spotted on their own. Around that: budgets with a safe-to-spend number, savings goals with honest timelines, shared bills with the household, and a forecast of the months ahead.

  • Shared expenses: split bills, see who's paid, settle up, and invite people with a link
  • Budgets, savings goals and a month-by-month forecast with confidence bands, computed in SQL
  • Postgres row-level security as the real privacy boundary, with money kept in integer cents

How it actually works.

Pick a system and follow one real request through it, hop by hop. Every step comes from the code, down to the file it lives in.

About

I’m most alive when an idea turns into something real.

I’m Omer, a software engineer in Toronto who loves building things. Mobile apps, backend systems, or a side project that started as “just a quick idea”: I want to take it from the first pixel to the cloud.

My work has taken me from healthtech to founding engineer at SuperOver. Now I’m at CMiC, building Flutter apps for construction project management. Outside work I make beats as GameOver and keep building tools for the pickup-sports communities I play in.
